Jack Cooper
I just bought 26 32 gauge roll of clapton wire. I vape on 75 watts. I have a normal regulated mod. How many wraps do I use on a 3.0?

cany
Have you tried a vape calculator such as steam engine?
Jack Cooper
It doesnt calculate claptons and I dont know how to use it. I know how to build a coil but nothing else about ohms and all that other stuff.

Tam
Holy cow, Jack! You should only post about your issue ONCE and then wait for a reply. Please do not spam the forum by posting the same thing multiple times in different topic areas. Thank you.

Walt
Welcome to the forum Jack. Where to start........ Understanding voltage, amperage, wattage, and resistance is one of the keys to successfully building coils. I guess the first thing to find out is what kind of wire are you using, e.g. kanthal, stainless, NI, titanium, etc. Each kind of wire will be a different resistance for the same length of wire. leadpipe58
Jack you can use steam engine to make Clapton coils. Click wire wizzard then Clapton in the drop down. It caulates 1 coil you must devide the ohm reading with the number of coils.
