j3000
Has anyone ever put regular cotton balls. In there cartridges to help soak up the liquid to make it go longer.
Christopher
Yes a few people have tried it. It did not work well. Also bits of the cotton threads that hit the heating coil burned up, you don't want to breath that in!
mcquinn
The idea is to have more air space with which to displace with liquid, cotton is more dense. The liquid has a high viscosity and is easy to retain in the cart.
j3000
Thanks guys, so is there anything I can use to replace that sponge like stuff in the cartridge.
Christopher
Try the Tea Bag mod. It's popular and works very well http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/index.php?app=videos&do=view&id=
Sinikal
Polyester Fill seems to be the most similar. Alot of people swear by the pyramid teabag mod, Click here. There are tons of mods out there, i would check out our Mods, Tips, And Tricks section here.

j3000
See everything you guys are suggesting sounds great. But the problem is this. I can't watch videos on my computer because I only have dial up for me to watch a six minute video takes 12 hours to download. They don't offer high speed or cable where I live. seaspine
I use the blue sponge mod. It's made out of a Marine Land aquarium filter, just cut it to size and stick it in the cart.In my opinion it wors as well as the teabag mod without the hassles of rollind abd folding the bag to fit. Marine Land makes 2 kinds of blue filters just make sure you get the one that looks like a sponge not the poly fiber one.Got mine at Petsmart cost around 7 bucks for 3 filters,I figure I have enough to last a few years. RustyVape
I second the MarineLand Right-Size U - Bonded foam sleeve. ~$10 for a 3-pack in DFW area. - Cut it into triangles: Such that, in the bottom of the cart, it is not compressed, yet at the top of the cart, it is compressed by 50%. I get 5-10 drop top-offs. Once, I did a 16 drop top-off! Note: If you cut it too small, it will leak. I also use the 'straw mod', just for good measure. I like 3/32" Tech-Tron heat shrink tubing (flexible Poly-olefin $1.19 at Fry's Electronics for ~5 feet) - pre shrunk with a heat-gun, cut at an angle for the bottom of the cart and flush with the top. (This speeds up top-offs and wicking for heavy vapeing). For broadband Internet, be sure to check for WIFI internet in you area. If not, check for T-Mobile and ATT Edge mobile Internet. Video on dial-up sucks. - Start video, wait for it to start playing, pause it, go to bed, wake up, try playing it -if the DL was not interrupted, you should be good.
