Uma
This is such an awesome forum. There is help around every corner, the videos are great, encouragement is rampant. I feel honored to soon be a part of your non-smoking club. I have a tiny question. In the video over at VP2 (viprlife), Chris states that loves everything about the VP2 with the exception that he prefers the atomizers from awesomevapor.com. I just can't seem to "hear" the name of the particular atomizer that he suggests. To my ears (which deciphers all conversations quite comically on a regular basis), it sounds like he says "shoreridge" ... but if what I'm hearing is correct, I can't find them over there. Any ideas? Jeffb
Hi Uma, welcome to the forum. Yeah sometimes Chris mumbles. Chris is saying "shortbridge". The Vapor Talk store has them for sale. Look for the Joye 302 penstyle atomizers (shortbridge). Awesomevapor has them also. Just a note... some people refer to them as "lowbridge" & 801 LB. So you gonna get a VP2? nana
Welcome to the forum, Uma. Jeff already answered your question, so I won't. Good luck with the vaping.

Thank you Jeff, it's good (mighty good!) to be here, and to meet you too. Everybody mumbles when it comes to my ears, my hearing. Chris was actually pretty clear most of the time... just a few words that I couldn't make out... probably because I'm not familiar enough with the terms. Shortbridge. Got it. (something to do with non-cartridge types right?) Yes! I'm shopping on the 8th-ish of January. Finally!! :::jumping for joy::: So far I have it narrowed down to: Joye510 ... VP2...and the Spade.... and the Janti.... and the ... oh boy I'll start a new post of decision making. Come on over!!

nana
Thanks for the hug, Uma! Such a warm start to such a cold day. Well, it's cold and snowing here. Anyway, I know what you're talking about with the units. Been there, done that. I started with a knock-off of the M401, then got the 901, then the 801, then the 510 and the VP2, then the spade, and now I have the VP/PT on order. You're going to be saving a lot of money by starting where you're talking about starting. One unit I've never had is the Janty, so I can't give any advice there. But...I love my 510. It's just perfect. Well, except for that very short battery life - about 2 hours per battery. Really, that's not a problem at home, but away from home it's a pain. I have a shortbridge 801 and a 510 atty for my VP2. The battery life on it is just awesome! I get at least 8 hours from it and have gotten 10 and 12 hours, too. If you don't mind the size, that's the way to go for sure. I'll have to let you know about the VP/PT when I get it. You sure are on the right track with what you're wanting to get though. ddavelarsen
Hi Uma, welcome to Vapor Talk. Sounds like you're having a good time; I'll go look for your decision thread too. I bought a VP2 based on Christopher's video and have loved every minute of it. It's a great device. Actually, it was Christopher's videos that brought me here - and I've loved every minute of that too. This is a good place.

Right on, Thanks Nana! The short battery life of the Joye510 is a big concern for me, otherwise it sounds perfect for me too. (feels like a real cig, has good taste and punch). The VP2 sounds better and better to me every day. An 8 hour battery would be perfect for me. (I live without electricty and don't have a deep cell for the panel yet). Yes, please, update me with your uptake on the VP/PT!

Chris's youtube videos. I spent days there watching his and the other reviewers. Chris and Sean make a great team ... a convincing team!... so I came and lurked for awhile last fall and now I'm ready to commit to the family and to the ecigs. Yeah! One more happy support vote on the VP2.
