terminator Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 I just got old batteries from a laptop battery pack which are ICR18650-22E can I use these with RX200s.Sent from my C6833 using Tapatalk
Bebop Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 No! Pretty sure these are not protected batteries and are not rated for current output required! I'll check further.....but don't try it!
Bebop Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Yeah. I just looked it up You want high drain IMR batteries only to be safe That battery unprotected and only rated at 4amps. Maybe not catastrophic in a regulated device but not worth the risk at all!! terminator 1

Bebop Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Yeah 4400mA discharge is 4.4 Amps No good since depending on your build you could easily pull 10 - 20 amps

Bebop Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 Good battery Yeah you could buy a 3rd and add it to your mix. terminator 1
Walt Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Definitely not good. If your running 3.7V @ .25ohms that's a draw of 14.7 amps. The battery would try to provide the current an be stressed way past max limit. The results could be really nasty. That's only 54 Watts. Sent from my iPad using The Vapor Talk mobile app terminator 1
