VAPE HOT!

What wattage are you running? I've found myself running the tfv8 at a slightly higher wattage than 'normal' for me, but only get a hot vape if I crank it way up. Think 120+. About 80w gives me a warm vape with plenty of flavor.

That being said, expect some inconsistency in the coils. This isn't limited to smok, I think kanger is the most consistent, but every other premade coils I've used haven't been real consistent.

Just a note.  Hot vs. warm is very subjective.  What I consider hot and burning my lips or mouth others may have a way to deal with it, or a different technique that deals with it.  But it doesn't even have to burn my lips - when I experimented with dual coils a couple of years ago, very quickly the vape got so "hot" that all I could taste was the heat, and not the vape itself.

At least that's my experience with TC right now.

You don't specify which Tesla III you have. The answers are different depending on the mod you have.

The 240w version is variable and thus you have control over the wattage.  The 150w version is max 4.2 v output and devteases with use and you can't adjust it's output so you are stuck with matching your juice/ coil combination for best performance.  My guess is you have the latter and therefore are suffering the wattage restrictions of that device.
