ddavelarsen Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 (edited) Christmas Eve has always been a special day for me. I was raised in a Christian home and I subscribe to the 'real' meaning of Christmas, as opposed to its commercial one. While I often struggle to accommodate both faith and science in one soul, my upbringing gave me a wonderfully stable foundation for life. I'm thankful for it. Before I start cleaning house for the madness this evening, I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyful Kwanzaa, beautiful Thursday and anything else you might choose to celebrate. Maybe it's a fellow vaper's birthday! I hope you all have a wonderful day. Edited December 24, 2009 by ddavelarsen

Jeffb Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Merry Christmas Eve to you all also. Growing up, we always celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve with dinner and the opening of presents. This will be my first smoke free Christmas in at least 15 years!!! I am truly blessed to have fellow vaper friends on here.
nana Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Merry Christmas to all of you, too. We, too, celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. We've even decided to limit gifts to 3 per person - to represent the orginial 3 gifts. This will be my first smoke free Christmas in 34 years. Truly amazing.

ddavelarsen Posted December 26, 2009 Author Posted December 26, 2009 Merry Christmas everyone! I think this is probably all our first smoke free Christmas! That is worth celebrating! Indeed! That really says something doesn't it? Truly a lifestyle change to be thankful for. I've been offline for three days (long story; I love Mediacom (or not)), and it's sure good to be back in the wider world! I hope you all had a great Christmas if that's what you celebrate, and a wonderful bunch of days regardless. Take care,
