Earthling789
I've not done it myself, but several members on here have... A good enamel paint is a must, and you won't need a clear-coat unless you just want it. The clear-coat is usually very poor in resisting oils from your hands and will look like crap quickly. A good enamel paint will remain shiny and resistant to skin oils... and can be buffed-out and even waxed with great success. One of my black IPV-mini's is looking like it's been dragged behind a truck for a few miles, so I'm going to be sanding it to bare metal soon, and I'm planning to coat it with Rustoleum's oil-baesd exterior enamel (smoke grey with regal red diagonal stripe). GRLSNGR
Aren't there wraps you can buy for your box mod??
Earthling789
Yes, but not all box mod's have pre-cut wraps made for them... alternatively you can buy sheets of wrap (uncut) and cut one to fit your mod... a lot of people have done that with automotive-grade vinyl.
