Ksaho99 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Ok so I have the ego, I bought it from my friend and it came with 3 tanks. They all worked when I bought it. Now I cleaned 2 tanks and they won't work now! I have tried pulling out the contacts and get nothing! The coils are not working. Please help!!!
FXRich Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Have you tried putting new coils in them? What kind of tanks are they?
Tam Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 When is the last time you charged the battery? Could it be that the battery needs to be recharged? If not that, have you tried changing to new coils?Do you know what type of tank you have? If you could post a picture, that could help.
Compenstine Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 If they are these...They are disposable. Once dead, they need thrown away and replaced. Some you can replace the coil but most can not be.
Ksaho99 Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) I know one is the iclear 16 but I'm not sure what the other one is, it won't let me post a picture. And no it's not a disposable one Edited September 7, 2015 by Ksaho99
Compenstine Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 (edited) You can replace the coils in the IClear 16s. Edited September 7, 2015 by Compenstine
Ksaho99 Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 How do you replace the coils? Is there a way I can just fix the coils?
Tam Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 You unscrew the bottom of the iClear 16, unscrew the coil and put in a new one.
Compenstine Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 The tank disassembles into these parts, Disassemble the tank and replace the coil head. (The part with the wicks sticking out of it)
Ksaho99 Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 Is it possible to fix without replacing the coil?
Ksaho99 Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 Ok, now what about my other tank? It doesn't come apart?
FXRich Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Did you let them dry completely before filling them with juice after you cleaned them?
Compenstine Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Refer to my first post. Are they that style? If so they are trash and you need to replace the whole tank.
Ksaho99 Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 No I didn't get it wet, I used a qtip and wiped off the coil. And ya it look similar to the picture
Rixter Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Figure out how to post a picture of what you have and someone here can probably figure out exactly what's going on with your gear. Without knowing what you've got, all anyone can do is take a guess.
Ksaho99 Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 Well when I go to post a pic it says it's too big, it says it exceeds 1.98mb This is the other tank I have
Compenstine Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Those are the disposable type of thanks. They are cheap most places around $2,99 to $4,99 ea.
Ksaho99 Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 My tank is a single coil with 2 wicks
Compenstine Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Two (1 wicK) would mean it is a single coil. IClear 16s are all duel coil. Unless it is old I would ask if you are sure it is an Iclear 16. Or are you talking about the disposable type you have? They are often single coil.
Rixter Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 This is the other tank I haveThose looks like disposable CE4s (eGo clearomizers). You can get them online for $3-$4 a piece. If you like that style of tank, I suggest picking up a couple of Kanger T2s...they have replaceable coil heads and hold a little more juice than the CE4 does. You can get them here, and orders over $10 ship free.
