I am getting wrong OHMS

Hello

 i bought my kangertech  about a month ago and i broke my tank so i got a new one

and for the last couple days i notice that the vape is very hot i cheakt my ohms and it shows me 0.6-0.9 ohms

on a 0.5ohms with 25-30watt

 

 

what can be wrong with it ?

If it is bouncing ohms every time you press the button, change your coil. You have a short in the coil.

i forgot to say that it also drips hot e juse ;(

Changing the coil may clear that up as well. It sounds like it is not vaporizing all the e-liquid. Is your Vapor production lower than normal too?

i just put new coil and it shows me 1.1ohm

You don't mention which tank or battery you are using.

 

disassemble all parts and clean them well especially the electrical contact points - the threads on your tank and battery, the center pin of your tank and battery. Sometimes leaking juice and build up on your contacts can mess with your resistance levels.

Not without having it in my hand. I didn't think of a cleaning. I think I'm to tired to diag an issue. LOL

i put my old coil, and its ok now , can it be the coil ? they bothcame from the same pack

Yeah. Could just be a bad coil.

I have had packs of coils with more than one bad coil in it same pack. It don't happen often, but it is possible.

i fix the problem with the ohms but the vape after 2-3 sec of inhaling is way to hood  , i dont tase burning coil and i set 25w

Try lowering the watts or open the airflow more.

You said you put your old coil back in? If that's the case, put in a new coil instead. It's already been established that the old coil could have a short in it, which is why it's not performing like it should.

You wouldn't by-chance be using an iStick 20W would you?  They are notorious for bouncing resistance on their own, not the fault of the tank/coil!

EDIT:

Whoops, I didn't read you were running at 25W, so that rules out the iStick 20... sorry.

What battery are you using??
