I never got a chemical aftertaste but I only use one flavor from them "Endless Summer". It is the only flavor in any of my tanks for over 2 years I like it so much. After trying it everything else I have tried literally tastes bad now. Tastes vary in liquids. There are even people that like Dekang and there is NOTHING I have tried since starting vaping that tasted that bad to me lol.
