vaping_jake
Does anyone know a technique to protect the firing buttons on our mechanical mods? I have heard to put some type of surfing wax every two weeks or so. I love the designs on mine and would love a way from protecting from wearing down. There was some protective coating on my brass owl, but after heavy use i could see the protection is gone.
Earthling789
Protection from? Oils on your hands? It would take several lifetimes of use for oils and sweat from your hands to eat through brass. Honestly, just keeping them polished using a good cleaner/polish designed for brass/copper will keep them functioning and looking like new. Copper-brite and Mother's also contain a protective compound to keep them from oxidizing as fast. I'm not sure what that compound is, but it's likely a paraffin-based wax... Mirage
Mr. Zoggs Sex Wax is what we used on our surf boards back in the 80's. You just took me back a few years...lol I wish vaping was around back then!!! gag8tor
