Earthling789
I have come to the conclusion that 90% of the population need their driver's license revoked! Glad you weren't hurt, and very glad you weren't on the bike when it happened!! gag8tor and tazl37

Add that we seem to have a dead spot for turn signals in my town (turn signals no longer work once you pass into our city limits), you get some interesting driving going on. Vehicles still come with those?? Around here, stop signs are "optional", red-lights are "suggestions", speed-limits are "minimums", and apparently lane stripes are invisible (or people are yellow/white color-blind)! I'm still amazed that people must come to a complete stop before making a right-turn.... and why is it that people think 90 is a good speed on a rural road or residential area, but 55 is too fast for the Interstate's fast-lane (yet people in the slow lane doing 80 get "pushed")? tazl37

Yes, vehicles still come equipped with them. They're just for show, though, so don't expect them to work or anything. Around here, you'll routinely see up to 7 or 8 cars go through the light when it hits red. The other drivers know this so they wait. Earthling789
Me too one thing I like to do when on the bike stopped is hang to the right shoulder I do the opposite... I try to take up as much lane as possible, closer to the center-lane-stripe or left third so I'll be in direct line with the driver of the vehicle behind me... I also have massively bright LED brake lights and an auxiliary flashing LED on my license plate frame to alert drivers to "HEY, MORON, I'M STOPPING NOW!" VapeMama
Glad you weren't hurt. There must be an epidemic of stupidity where turn signals are concerned. On the way home from work tonight, I saw no less than 6 vehicles make turns without using them. Sheesh.
Tam
You know, I almost don't mind them not using turn signals when they make a 90 degree turn. It's when they don't use them for lane changes that make me crazy.
jasonculp
I wish I had the money for 2 of those dash cams. I could post some amazing videos. Even though I am not on the road as much as normall lately, I will still drive over 1000 miles this week (400+ mile trip planned for Friday) and get to see more stupidity than you can image! I will have to admit that I am not perfect, but even on my worse day I feel that I am better than most!

Mirage
Turn signals are only used for hanging things from these days it seems.
shen_long86
Glad you werent hurt....i agree with earthling that 90%of the population do not need a license. And yes people do not know how to use turn signals anymore, the one that gets me is they dont use one and cut me off in my bigrig then have to come to a complete stop to make a right turn. Of course my response is "use your d@$! turn signal, and geez a$$#@#$ even i dont have to come to a complete stop to make that turn...and i am driving a 70ft long 80,000lb. battering ram." gag8tor
Glad you're o.k. cany. I'm a land surveyor and do some transportation work. Oh the stories I can tell. I'd much rather work in the swamps and deal with alligators and snakes than these idiots on the road. I'm with you shen. I see people doing some really dumb $#! T around big rigs. They just don't realize that those things don't stop on a dime. And it's always gonna be the trucker's fault when something happens. shen_long86
