BirdDog
What is the best way to attach the atomizer and adapter to the VP PT? Attach the Atomizer to the adapter then attach it to the PT? or Attach the adapter to the PT then attach the atomizer? I guess this question would also apply to the other VP mods. I am trying to avoid over tightening either of the pieces. I did look in the manual and didn't see any instructions about this. Christopher
Well it's best to choose only one atomizer to use rather than changing it out all the time as you could wear down the threads and center poll over time. There is an answer to this question though and that's put the adapter on first, then the atomizer
BirdDog
I ask a simple question and I get an answer plus a bonus! Thanks!
TheSmokingMan
I agree with Chris and I have a lot of experience with threads. I would put the adapter on first then thread on the atomizer. With the VT-PT and any e-Cig you want to avoid over tightening the treads. The heat from the atomizer can make them tighter and make it difficult to get off. Chris is the expert on changing atomizers, seems like he does it a 100 times a day. I generally remove my atomizer at least twice a day or maybe as much as five times a day, I tend to over drip sometimes and I always have to compunction to clean the excess juice out of the contact points under the atomizer. Isn't your VT-PT set up to use an 801 atty with out an adapter? I think that the 801 attys are the best producers of vapor over the 510 and the 901. BirdDog
I basically have been using the same atomizer on the adapter since I received my PT. I have swapped it for the 801 a few times, in hope that I might actually like the 801 on the PT. Last night, I changed out my 510 atomizer for a different 510 atomizer because I had put some menthol in it to open up my sinuses. (yes it did the trick) Now this morning I am noticing that the new 510 is not seated tightly, it moves side to side. It is still functioning properly, so I will report back when I change out this 510 atomizer for another. If it happens again. It could just be this one atomizer. Christopher
EDIT: I spoke with Jeso and I gave you the wrong advice I'm sorry Putting the atomizer on the adapter THEN onto the Passthrough is your best route. Sorry about that
BirdDog
EDIT: I spoke with Jeso and I gave you the wrong advice I'm sorry Putting the atomizer on the adapter THEN onto the Passthrough is your best route. Sorry about that Not a problem. I didn't get to use it much today anyway. I have sent you enough questions since I took this beauty out of the box. So it is I that should apologize for sending 2 tickets and posting a question. It might be a nice idea to add this to the download manual. Thanks for the quick response!
