Us here dont get many visitors but on occassion our vendors will come in normally sport'n breakfast, lunch, hats or whatnots... Taday a couple came in & wanted ta see our process,, so the Owner's eldest son gave them the the nickel tour of our shop... They get around ta my side & wanted ta do the feely touchy thing.... OMG this is where it gets halarious,, The guy says "How hot are those tubes??" Bosskid says "that back one is hot enuff ya woodnt hang on ta it fer long" Bout 350-400* WELDED FINTUBES Now this Old Hi-Tek RedNeck is fasser than most... He goes ta touching the 1st 2 tubes & Bosskid grabs his arm... Says "ya really dont wanna do that" & the guy looks at me with my coconut inhand & ready ta start the laughing parade... Can't find a good welding company around here anywhere. Started off with galvanized and black iron. Moved on to aluminum then went to tig welding combustion chambers on the F-14 and F-16 fighter jet engines during the first Gulf War. Man those were the days...
