Complex01 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Hi I keep my bottles of e-juice in a kinda make up box that has partitions, there is no ventialation in it until I lift the lid up but lately I notice when I open the lid I can smell a strong chemical-ish sort of smell, So I left the box open and the smell didnt lessen any, I sprayed some kitchen towel with air freshner and put it in there but it soon dried and the smell returned, I been thinking about a tree car air freshner so when I open the lid I smell that, Anyone else have this problem?
Tam Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Just me, but I wouldn't be using that box anymore. Let it sit empty for a bit and then go back to see if the smell is still there. If it's the box, it can't be good for the juice. Complex01 1
shen_long86 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 i agree with Tam on this one...that definately can't be good for your e-juice.
Mirage Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 I agree with Team and Shen. If your getting that kind of a smell it can't be good for anything. If it's the bottles of juice I honestly would throw them away and never buy that brand again. If it's the box without the juice in it, throw the box away. You don't want any chemical smell leaching thru/into the plastic/juice... Just my 2 cents...
lilaloca1890 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Im not sure what would be causing the smell. I feel like though, it has less to do with the liquids and more with your storing methods. Just put them on a shelf in a room temp place. Maybe the box is humid or something??? Strange.
