Tam
Lord of The Rings The books or the movies, Jeff? I go for the books, personally. Putting a sword into Arwen's hand is like putting an Uzi into Mother Theresa's. Just my opinion. Edited January 28, 2015 by Tam

Vapin On Cloud 9
Yes, LoTR for sure. J.R. Tolkien was a genius. The prequel to the trilogy, The Hobbit is probably my favorite fictional book of all time.
drllama
Absolutely LoTR, and if you haven't read the books (including The Hobbit), stop now. Put down your laptop. Run, do not walk to the nearest bookstore. Buy 'em and start reading! I'm actually envious of anyone who hasn't read them yet: Just imagine, getting to experience it for the first time!!! Earthling789
From the standpoint of movie only, I gotta vote for Matrix.

Compenstine
I like the first three Original Planet of the Apes. The last one was one of the worst movies I have ever seen LOL I must agree though with the LoTR as being my favorite of all trilogy movies I have seen. Starre LaBell
Lord of The Rings, books AND movies. My husband and I are both huge fans. The only complaint I have with the movies is of leaving Tom Bombadillo and his Lady completely out. An entire movie could be done based on the Hobbits and their adventures in Tom's woods. Starre LaBell
I know this is off the subject but Im having a Game of Thrones withdrawl...can't wait for it to come back You and me both! I wait for this show every year...our friends & neighbors love the series, too. We have a great time:))) The books are wonderful, but I do wish I hadn't read ahead of the series. George R.R. Martin just HAS to finish writing these books, because he leaves us completely hanging. Plus, there's no way the series can end right without another 1,500 page book.
