Tug Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I have a stillare that I use just about everyday and the topcap fits really lose.Do they sell replacement o-rings for this issue? Or do I need to make a trip to the hardware store?
joejoevapekins Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Hardware store or Napa. If you go to Napa ask for the green ones used in HVAC systems repair
joejoevapekins Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 The green ones handle heat and juice like a champ
Tug Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Yeah my top cap is really lose and it leaks really bad.
Tam Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 My Stillare came with extra O-rings. Didn't yours, or did you use them already?
Tug Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 My Stillare came with extra O-rings. Didn't yours, or did you use them already?Mine is a clone and I don't recall getting any with it.
Tam Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Mine is a clone and I don't recall getting any with it. Mine is a clone made by EphPro, it came with some wire, wick, a little screw driver and extra O-rings.
Tug Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Well I guess we all cant be so lucky now can we,Tam?
joejoevapekins Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Probably like me. Got I from a b&m and they just give the atty and that's it mist of the time. No fancy blue screw drives or anything lol
Tug Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 I think TobecoI didn't get a damn thing with mine lol
Tam Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I think Tobeco I didn't get a damn thing with mine lol It's just personal preference but I've not had good luck with any Tobeco product. I prefer EHPro for clones.
Tug Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Well my only complaint is the top cap is really loose.I've been thinking about getting another one.
Tam Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 My top cap is very firm. When I first got it I had to use a little juice on the O-rings to lube it a little.
Tam Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 What kind of lube did ya use??? Lol Just a little bit of e-liquid. Speaking of lube, did you know that in some professions you have to be certified to use lube? When I first heard about it I about laughed myself silly. And then I went to administer the lube certification test to 10 guys who worked at a cement plant. The Lube Council pays its testing proctors very well... I kid you not, there really is such a thing as the Lube Council. joejoevapekins 1
Tug Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Wow! Thanks Tam for that useless fact lmao

Tam Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 $150 - $300 a test that takes about two hours. Not a bad way to make some extra cash. Just wish the certificates only lasted a year instead of five.
