Compenstine Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Hummm I was just doing what the thread tile said. "Just Sharing A Good Song..." Maybe the subtle approach isn't working.... Play **** that's a little more obscure...let's hear your more eclectic music. Like the first post of this thread...have you ever heard that song? How many times have you heard War Pigs? I mean, I could probably turn a radio on right now and hear War Pigs within 4 minutes and 12 seconds. Did not realize the Title meant all of this between the lines.

Yeah I think T-bone might have been a little sleep deprived. And a lot of these tunes while considered mainstream today, back in their day they were pretty avant garde. Funny how time does that. Who ever would have thought Warpigs would become trite? back then it was the stuff that made your parents and teachers tear their hair out, lol.
Compenstine Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 To me Top 40 is Donny and Marie, Jackson 5, Madona, etc... LOL War Pigs was a song that a lot of my Viet-Nam vet friends relate to. It does get some air time on the classic radio now, but back in the day it was rare. Bebop 1
Compenstine Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 This is Doors tune they would not play on any Radio station. LOL The Celebration of the Lizard (Live in New York) Full
T-Bone Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 Too funny... But yeah, I was getting sick, over-tired and didn't even realize it. I slept for a good 18 hours.... Bebop 1
Compenstine Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Too funny... But yeah, I was getting sick, over-tired and didn't even realize it. I slept for a good 18 hours.... LOL I'll forgive you this time. *Puts the Crab Juice flavoring back in the test flavor box. LOL Tug, T-Bone and Bebop 3
joejoevapekins Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 LOL I'll forgive you this time. *Puts the Crab Juice flavoring back in the test flavor box. LOL That is some kind of different taste lol. Needs some spice to it. Tug 1
T-Bone Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 One thing, as I said to Comp before, all that sleep gave me was: healed taste buds! His Hydra's Delight is delicious right now! Compenstine 1
T-Bone Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 (edited) This song is so melodic and beautiful. Band had talent coming out of their ears. Edited January 16, 2015 by T-Bone Slums Bebop 1
T-Bone Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 I didn't know why, after waking up, juice tasted so damned delicious. Being awake, chain vaping for 28 hours, kills your taste buds I guess. Comp gave me some great advice!
T-Bone Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 Was just gonna post some Rush. First concert ever!
T-Bone Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 (edited) One of their most epic songs! Live, 30 years later: Edited January 16, 2015 by T-Bone Slums
Compenstine Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 My first concert was Emerson Lake and Palmer Works Vol 1 Tour Emerson, Lake & Palmer - TARKUS https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5tHUSiCzD6M
joejoevapekins Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Back when the years were counted by moons lol I'm sorry just couldn't resist Compenstine 1
joejoevapekins Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Why can't they make music like this anymore. I'd have to say 85% of music these days is just terrible.
Compenstine Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 I love this song Emerson, Lake & Palmer - C'est La Vie - Live In Montreal, 1977 Off Works Vol 1
Compenstine Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Buddy Rich & Jerry Lewis - Drum Solo Battle (1965)
T-Bone Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 Why can't they make music like this anymore. I'd have to say 85% of music these days is just terrible. There are so many amazing bands making music right now. Just none of it is on the radio.
