Tam Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Just another reason why wall chargers should be used and e-cigs should not be plugged into your computer. Thanks for the link to the article. T-Bone 1
T-Bone Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 I've read that using phone adapters or whatnot can be dangerous for the battery. I'm no electrician and I'm definitely no whiz when it comes to voltage outputs etc...but I'm pretty sure this is safe to use, yes? Output 5v on the adapter and the charger is 5v, so...should be OK....
Bebop Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Yes it's fine. That's a standard 5v wall adapter. And your charger hss the correct rating. T-Bone 1
T-Bone Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Figured as much...but those videos of things exploding had me a bit nervous.
Compenstine Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 So long as your wall wort is putting out 5v you are fine your battery charger will regulate that output down to the 4.2 v and 420mA. I have a wall wort that has a 15V output (ASUS Tablet) that would burn out the battery charger you show in your pic. T-Bone 1
Taajsgpm Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 How can people waste there time doing such harmful and silly things like this?
