Tam
You don't sound needy, you sound like a new vaper who needs some help locating things he's not familiar with. We've all been there. It's good that you're asking questions and not running to eBay, which is not a good place to go, imo. It's all too easy to get knock offs there and you don't know it until it's too late. We see the aftermath of this all the time on the forum. Okay, here are some links: Vision Vapros 1300 mAh: https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/the-vision-vapros-1300mah/ These are basically Spinners and new. They're just prettier than the regular Spinners is all but still great workhorses. I think they just prettied up the original Spinners and gave them a different name. Vision Spinner 2: https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/vision-spinner-2-battery-1600mah/ You're in luck that they're even lower than before! Vision USB charger: https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/vision-ecig-rapid-charger/ These are out of stock right now but waiting to get one won't hurt you because you already have a charger. It usually doesn't take very long to restock anyway. They should have them soon. You can also use the Joyetech charger, they work just as well: https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/joyetech-510510t-usb-charger/ Joyetech wall adapter: https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/joyetech-universal-ecig-usb-wall-adapter/ In my book, these are a must. I love to keep my computers in one piece, and there's a safety overcharge protection built into the adapters for extra protection. Pro Tank 3 mini: https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/pro-tank-3-mini/ These will be around the same diameter as the battery you have now as well as the Spinners. KPT2 or Kanger Pro Tank 2: https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/pro-tank-2/ These are the full sized tanks and will make your battery and tank combo look a little top heavy (lollypop), but holds more juice. You can use the Aerotank airflow controller on the full sized tanks: https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/kanger-airflow-control-valve-for-protank-protank-2-protank-3-and-aerotank/ These are the long stemmed replacement coils for the KPT2 and KPT3 mini. Even though the KPT3 mini comes with a dual coil, you can use the single coils with no problems: https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/pro-aero-tank-refill-dual-coils/ You can also use the short stemmed coils. These are what originally came out for the KPTs and then Kanger changed them to long stem. Some people report leaking on the short stem, I haven't had this problem except with a couple of them. Quality control isn't a priority with Chinese manufacturers so you will get a dud from time to time. https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/kanger-short-stem-pro-tank-coils/ I would go with a 1.5 ohm or 1.8 ohm coil in either of the links above. My personal preference is the 1.8 ohm because I find that it works with the widest range of juices. The 1.5 ohm runs a little hotter than I like, but that's just me. If I forgot something, let me know. Right now, since you're on a budget, these are the things I'd recommend. Later on, you may want to look at an Aspire Nautilus or Nautilus mini with the vertical coil but those are around $24 - $26 and the coils cost more to replace. The KPT tanks are solid performers. They do have a Pyrex glass tank so you'll want to be a little careful not to break them. There is replacement glass available, though. With glass tanks you don't have to worry about what juice you're using. There are some that are known as tank crackers: heavy on citrus, mint, menthol, heavy on cinnamon... Plastic tanks are prone to crack with some of these. Glass tanks are not. That's enough to get you started. Man, can you imagine the commission I could get if I actually worked for the VT store and not just a satisfied customer? jasonculp

I think the apple, coffee vanilla type flavors would be what I would like...not cinammon or anything like that. As time goes on you'll better understand the terms. In the mean time, ask like you did just now and you'll get an explanation. 1. Yes, the Vapros and Spinners are the batteries like the white part of your set up now. It's the one with the button on it to fire the thing up. 2. A tank for the liquid as well as the heating coil that heats up the juice you have in it. This would replace the cartomizer you currently have, the thing with the little white cap on the top that looks like the cigarette filter. 3. Liquid. I would suggest going with the 24 mg (2.4%) nicotine since you're just now starting out and trying to stay off the analogs (cigarettes). You'll also see PG/VG ratio on some of the juices. PG = Propylene Glycol. This is the flavor carrier part of the juice. It also adds "throat hit" which is how harsh the vape will feel when you take a draw. More PG = thinner liquid. Thinner liquid = easier for the wick inside the coil to absorb. VG = Vegetable Glycerin. This produces the vapor, makes the e-liquid thicker and harder for the wick to absorb, it also adds a slightly sweeter flavor (not much). Since you're just starting out, go with a 50/50 (PG is most often the first number with VG the second) or 40 PG/60 VG. The most I'd go would be a 30/70 but that's going to be a pretty harsh throat hit with the 24 mg nicotine. More nic also equals harsher throat hit. Fadora is a very trusted vendor here on the forum. Compenstine is a member of good standing and very trustworthy. I would buy his liquids. If you go to his site, the juices can be customized six ways from Sunday. T-Bone
All such awesome information...thanks so much folks! I hear what you're talking about when you mention the throat hit...when I first tried one of those Blu things it did nothing, then when I was introduced to the item I have now that was the first thing I noticed...how it felt like a real drag. I think that's probably the most important thing that helped me be without analogs this whole week. But I'm really curious about the different flavors etc so I'm off to do some shopping! If you're going to order from Fadora, I'd suggest the Spiced Apple, Birthday cake, the new Hydra's Delight (this is a dragon fruit blend that is amazing!), and if you want to try a little of the cinnamon, go with the Cinnamon Stick. This does not taste like a Red Hot, but of the real cinnamon spice. It's also great to add to other juices. Talk to Comp for some suggestions. I believe he also has a sampler pack you could try. Tam
Taking a look at all those flavors...amazing! The standard bottle size is 4ml...but I've seen most people mention 15ml bottles. How long does a bottle usually last and how many drops does one normally use? 4 ml would be the sample size so you can figure out if you like the juice or not. How long a bottle lasts all depends on you, how much you vape, how big of a tank you're using, etc. Usage amounts go all over the place. With your cartomizer, you're using it per drop. In a tank like a KPT3 mini, it will hold 1.5 ml of juice. The KPT2 will hold 2.5 ml of juice. Sorry I can't narrow it down further for you, but how much juice you use and how long a bottle will last is entirely up to you and your vaping habits. For now, I'd start off with the 4 ml bottles until you figure out what you like, and then I'd get a bigger bottle.
T-Bone
See that little white thing on the very top of the cartomizer? You should be able to get that off, put liquid onto the filler material (just a drop at a time and don't get any liquid into the center hole -- try not to over fill). Put the cap back on and vape. You can buy replacement cartomizers (with your battery, it's a fixed 3.7 volts), you'll want to stick with either a 1.5 ohm or 1.8 ohm cartomizer. Any higher resistance and your battery won't be able to give you enough oomph to heat the coils before the 10 second cut off. If you're refilling, make sure to use the same liquid as the filler material will hold onto the last flavor you put in. If you wind up with two flavors that don't play well with each other, it's going to taste nasty. Some other flavors like a fruit and a vanilla would taste pretty good together though. You can get empty cartomizers for pretty cheap: http://www.litecigusa.net/Smoktech_510_1_7ohm_Single_Coil_Blank_Cartomizers_p/510-smok-1.7-blk.htm $6.95 for a 5-pack of cartomizers. I've done business with Litecig before and never had a problem. Man, but I had a hard time finding these LR (1.7 ohm) cartomizers. The Vapor Talk store only had 2.0 ohm and up. Same thing with The Veteran Vaper. While there's nothing wrong with cartomizers, they're pretty old school. We need to get you into a few tanks with replaceable bottom coils. Much cheaper and I'm sure you'll like the taste of the juices better. Another sill question: are these cartomizers the same thing as the glass tanks but just for different battery types? Is there a reason to use a glass tank over a cartomizer? Here's what I'm thinking of putting together:https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/pro-tank-3-mini/ or https://www.vaportalk.com/product-category/replacement-ecig-parts/ecig-cartomizers/https://www.vaportalk.com/shop/vision-spinner-2-battery-1600mah/ (Orange color rules!) And some liquid from Fadora. I think that'll set me up, yes? Or should I just go with the starter set and a bottle until I better understand what I dealing with and then start moving upwards? I know the answers here are all dependent upon how I will use them and how much I will vape, but I just want to make sure I get what I need at a good value and I appreciate your help, I really do. Or, if someone feels like being a cook, they could put together a nice dish for me if I'm way off track on what I'm putting together.
T-Bone
I've saved over $100 so far...and I can see that money right here in my wallet. I'm really glad to have found this place! Tam
Compenstine
Juice usage is all about how much you personally vape. I go through 30-35mls a week others less ye others more. As Tam said the 4ml sizes are samples. They are meant to help you find what you like and don't without breaking the bank and having a large bottle that you won't vape, wasting money. I'm one of the few E-Liquid makers that allows you adjust your flavor, there others. Meaning say you order my Home canned peaches in a sample and uou really would like more flavor. There are options to boost the flavor up. I make every bottle to order I do not make large batches. This allows me to offer man ways to customize E-Liquid to your taste. It is why I charge a little more. As Tam said earlier, I will work with you to find what you may like and that does include custom flavors. Doing a custom flavor that is not on my menu can take longer. Tam
Tam
Another sill question: are these cartomizers the same thing as the glass tanks but just for different battery types? And some liquid from Fadora. I think that'll set me up, yes? Or should I just go with the starter set and a bottle until I better understand what I dealing with and then start moving upwards? Better to say that cartomizers do the same job as tanks. Tanks hold more liquid, give better flavor, is more versatile and reusable. You can change a flavor in the tank, pop in a new coil and you're good to go. Cartomizers hold very little liquid, have a little "filler" taste (imo), tend to leak from the airholes in the bottom unless you're using a drip shield, you're pretty much stuck with a one trip pony where flavors are concerned because the filler material holds onto the taste of the e-liquid and will not let it go unless you go through an arduous cleaning process that's more trouble than it's worth. They both have 510 connections on the end so they would use the same types of batteries. I strongly recommend the tank option. And get at least two of the KPT3 minis so you have at least one back up. If you go with the KPT3 (you really won't be sorry in the long run), you must get a 5-pack of extra coils. If you can, I'd get two 5-packs or more. With the cartomizers, it's use it and toss when it no longer delivers flavor/vapor/performance like it did. This is usually about a week or a little longer. With a tank, you just pop in a new coil and you're ready to go. Or you can drain out the old liquid, rinse, pop in a new flavor and a new coil and you're ready to go. Also, don't forget to put an AC adapter into your shopping cart! This will save you some grief just in case. You wouldn't want to lose your computer or laptop, would you? While rare, it does happen. If you use the AC adapter, there's much less chance of that. I'd go with the a la carte option rather than going with a starter kit, but that's just me. All too often there's something in the starter kit that I have no use for. Others seem to like them just fine, though.

Tam
Awesome, so add some coils? Not really sure what those do...or where they are listed on the sale page... Just click on the link I gave you in an earlier comment. You can use either the short or long stem coil for the KPT3 mini. The coils are what heat up the liquid into vapor. Short stemmed coils are cheaper but some people say they leak more although I've not had this issue. Go with a 1.8 ohm coil for best results. Compenstine
The coil heats the liquid creating the vapor. Your cartos have coils you just don't see them.
