Question About Polethlene Glycol

Polyethylene Glycol. All I can find around here is the powdered form. Any one else ever use this? Do you mix it with water or straight to flavoring?

VapinCt, you probably can find your answer in the DIY juice forum. If I remeber, you can get the liquid PG at Walmart or a drug store.

I cant create a post there. This is the only forum I can create a new post. I did a search and found nothing discussing the PG Powder. I looked around at ever pharmacy here. I can get VG however. I was told PG create more vapor however.

you really want to go with PG already made. this is already industry grade and made safely. you really want to go with Propylene Glycol - USP...already made and ready to go!!! remember to stay safe and go with what is already known!!

And anyways, PG is good for more flavor not vapor. You want to use the VG for more vapor and less flavor. Mix 50/50, PG/VG and get both worlds.

If ya want PG, beat place to go is either Vet or Animal Feed Store.

Actually all I want to do is saturate the filler in my cartridges. I find that the way they are designed now, alot of juice gets wasted do to the filler being so big, your always having to top the top off with a couple drops. If the filler is dried out a little, it just absorbs the juice.

So I want to play with the idea of saturating it in VG or PG first. Then using as normal.

Woah! Just to make a correction here you are NOT looking for Polyethylene Glycol but rather Propylene Glycol there is a difference!

That's probably why you are finding it in powder form. An another reason I'm not big on members mixing their own liquid, be careful when searching for PG and make sure your using the correct spelling, no joke, it could end up going very wrong.

Polyethylene glycol 3350 is used to treat occasional constipation. Polyethylene glycol 3350 is in a class of medications called osmotic laxatives. It works by causing water to be retained with the stool. This increases the number of bowel movements and softens the stool so it is easier to pass.

It could have been very ugly. No joke!

Hehe, yeah, that would have been a BIG mess. My bad. I really did call around asking for the right thing. I saw that other stuff sitting on a shelf. I sure am glad I didn't try that one without asking!

I think you can get bottles of PG from tastyvapor.com

You can get VG (Humco glycerin) at Walmart in the pharmacy section.

Make sure you get USP grade !

LOL Well, you've been here since the beginning. I tried to read all the old posts, and may have come pretty close to it, but I was getting confused, so I quit. Now I just try to keep up with all the new ones. And all the new people, etc. It can make your head spin, but I'm sure enjoying. I never thought I would, but I do. It helps that some people on here are very funny. I get a lot of laughs.
