Geremy13
Kanger Turbo Not Working Hello, I know probably not the best place to post this but every other topic reports "You cannot start new topics", don't know why. Anyhow, got my new Kanger Turbo yesterday and tested on my 510 threaded cartomizer tester and it reads infinite ohms. Adjusted the firing pin up and down and still same thing. Tightened both coils and same thing. Then I removed both coils and looked inside and can see that there is NO possible way for the firing pin to come in contact with the kanger coil cartridge...... I just got back from the vapor store and looked at thier turbo, inside down by the coil bottoms is a 'Flat' plate that must come in contact with the bottom of the coils... on mine it is simply the end of the firing pin screw. Any thoughts?
Earthling789
You have a defective base-plate (air-flow control base). I had this happen with a standard AeroTank I purchased... unwrapped it, unboxed it, and nothing worked... I took it back to the store I bought it from and they replaced the base... going 6-months strong on it now! You have to remember these are all coming from China, and their QC is almost non-existent... sometimes you're lucky if ANYTHING is in the box Fortunately, of the nearly two dozen Kanger tanks I've purchased, that one tank was the only one that slipped by as non-functional, out of the box... Welcome to VT! @hope_photography123
Geremy13
Thank you so much for the reply. I figured as much as there was NO way for the firing pin to come in contact with the 2 coils. Unfortunately this one was direct from China and I'm trying to discuss it with them now. They commented on sending me a new firing pin, but how on earth do you replace this as the pin is a screw, but needs to have a 'plate' on the end of it somehow. And how to dis-assemble this 'turbo' base plate is a mystery. (I mean beyond the connector ring). Thanks again!
Tam
The reason why you can't start new topics anywhere else other than New Members and Introduce Yourself is because you're new. You need a minimum of three posts before you can post in other threads. This keeps the spammers to a minimum and in only one or two places. After a couple more posts you should be good. If not, let us know. Good luck on your fix. Trying to deal direct with someone in China is hard, which is why we strongly suggest buying from US based vendors. Geremy13
Well, I would agree 100% with this. While I can save money and enjoy shopping in China, it is a completely different experience that going to my local store. As an American, I support this wholeheartedly.... and will most likely purchase from my local guy...... ....... who purchased from China.... Just smarter than me. Tam
Even if your local vendor (or online vendor) buys from China, you have more recourse should you get a defective product. Not smarter than you necessarily, just that US businesses have different laws they have to follow. That's all.
Compenstine
That and it cuts down the wait time if something does go wrong. Yes we buy from China and deal with the hassle so you don't have too.

Compenstine
LOL Yep they just don't ever go away. Makes wonder if they get paid well for doing this. I can't imagine someone doing it for free. LMAO If they do, that makes them even more stupid. Can't take much brain cells to copy paste crap all day long. Tam
Tam
Yeah, but the sheer amount of time that's wasted doing this all day... Gotta wonder what's in it for them.

Compenstine
Just saw a Forbs article that states Spammer make 200m off of FB. LOL guess it does pay. They also get paid when a message remains on a server. Interesting stuff, get paid to be a jerk what a world.
