vapornwb
Hello. And thank you for you help. So I vape on ego vv's with kanger and nova tanks. But now looking to upgrade and need some help. Criteria: 1. On the go charging. Need to be able to charge it off a micro USB. 2. Tube design with Bottom "fire" button (like a mech mod) 3. Can support a "The big dripper" (or similar rdta) 4. Atleast 6v or 15watts. Does not need to be variable.. I searched for hours and can't find anything. Any help in The right direction would be great. I've never seen or heard of a mod that combines 1&2 4 will require either vv/vw or stacking batts(not recommended) Sooo what's your second choice ? . vapornwb
Hmmm. I can't imagine why no one would make a bottom fire and have a charging receptical. 2nd choise..? I guess is there either a battery that will last all day. Or a on the go batt charger that I can use in my car with a micro USB. I seen a Joye batt that is a pass-through and can be plugged in but biggest is 1100mh .
sasha19_81
Ok.. can be done.. But you gotta build it your self. Best choice to steer you in the right direction.. Fasttech. clones that are cheap to ruin. Materials.. 1. Dna 30 chip clone 2. Nemesis clone 3. Nemesis extra tubes Remove kick ring attach 18350 tube to nemesis.. Now you have place to insert dna and charger inside.. Fire button goes down and conects to the mech switch.. Think about it.. you will sort it out your self.. App price= 60 $ VinnieC123
Synther
On the go charging is the hard part. But with an 18650 battery, there is little need for that since a 3400mAh battery will generally last you between 10 and 15 hours. Simply carry a spare and you're set for well over a full day. Bottom fire button isn't going to be found in a typical device. You have to go mech mod. But that's not to say that you can't get a mech mod with the other features you desire. I'm building one for my wife that matches your other criteria. Nemesis Mechanical Mod Siglei 5w to 15w kick module It is 510 threaded and will support the Big Dripper, as well as any other RDA/RBA tank (for her, we're going with a Kafun Mini). Will support varying sizes of batteries, 18650, 18500, and 18350 (she's going with 18350 to keep the device small). Price? For her setup it was around $30 for just the device and two batteries. I added some extras for her that brought the total up to around $50 (aluminum stand for her desk, zipper case with caribiner to attach to her purse, etc). vapornwb
Thanks for the advise everyone.Synther Mind providing a link to where you are ordering your parts? I was going to order : fuHattan, big dripper and a kick2. But I'm interested in seeing what else I can put together. I was thinking of making my own dna30 mod, maybe in the future when I have some extra time to do it.

I was thinking of making my own dna30 mod, maybe in the future when I have some extra time to do it. I went back through my list and some of the prices have fluctuated, so the basics of what I was building her runs $48 now. Still fairly inexpensive. I'm building this for her for her birthday. Nemesis clone https://www.fasttech.com/p/1849502 Kayfun Mini https://www.fasttech.com/p/1805804 Kayfun drip tip https://www.fasttech.com/p/1775803 Sigelei 5w - 15w Variable Wattage Kick Module https://www.fasttech.com/p/1670801 Those are the basics. I added these for her too... Aluminum Stand https://www.fasttech.com/p/1692304 Zipper Multispandex Pouch https://www.fasttech.com/p/1851007 I picked this up for myself, since I build all the coils.... Vaping Coil Winding Jig https://www.fasttech.com/p/1882303 ---- I absolutely do not buy batteries from FastTech anymore. Evidently, their postal system is terrified of rechargeable batteries and you'll be lucky to receive your order inside of 6 months. Instead, I order all that through Amazon. They usually get to me inside of 3 days. (I didn't really need this...but it's a good charger at a really awesome price that we can both use....) Synther
For comparison on the batteries, these are the high amp batts that I'm currently using in my mech mods. These are only 2500mAh but still will last me between 8 and 12 hours on a single battery, depending on usage...but for a day where I'm working, moving about, doing stuff....I only find myself swapping the battery once throughout the day. EFest IMR 18650 2500mAh 35a Batterieshttp://www.amazon.com/Efest-18650-Rechargeable-Battery-Purple/dp/B00IKTCZ9W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413260006&sr=8-1&keywords=Efest+18650+Battery My real test for these came when I went camping for four days over the summer. I took 4 of these batteries with me and only ended up using 3 with a spare ready for the ride home and during the recharge time. And I vape like this thing is an oxygen tank and I'm stranded on Mars. Especially when camping and drinking. ;-) Edited October 14, 2014 by Synther
christov11
what about going strait into a mech and buying extra batteries? a good mech clone lets say 50$ the usual box mod with passthrough ive seen are around 100$ Make up the difference in price with batteries for days and youre gonna last a heck of a long time before you need to charge them all! that nemi modification sounds awesome though! Synther
I generally just use a mech mod, myself. But some people want vv/vw or the protection that a circuit can provide. In my wife's case, her ability to adjust the wattage saves me time wrapping coils to get it exactly the way she wants it.

Synther
I received all the parts for my wife's birthday present today. Honestly, they're even better than I expected. The Kayfun Mini 2.1 1:1 clone is incredible. As soon as she's not around, I'll post some pics of the finished unit.

I still havent seen any tangible proof of this... Not starting a debate, i just would rather have proof before accepting a statement as fact. I will definately unwrap one of my efests when it is done myself and put rest to this debate.. for myself anyway! Synther

Not starting a debate, i just would rather have proof before accepting a statement as fact. I will definately unwrap one of my efests when it is done myself and put rest to this debate.. for myself anyway! Exactly. I hear this from time to time. "Efest are just rewrapped LG batteries that couldn't pass the test." Or "Efest are just rewrapped batteries that couldn't be called VTC4." The funny this is that 1.) There's never any photo evidence showing this to be true and 2.) The claim is never for the same brand of battery. It's always a grab bag. I also hear a lot about Big Foot sightings. Similarly, I never see any credible photo evidence of that either.

I am with you on this. My theory may be wrong, but as long as you use a safe chemistry battery, and respect it keep your builds within proper limits, you should be fine. I guess if you buy them from a reputable seller, a known brand, watch for bad spots, feel for heat, etc. we should have no problems. At least I hope! christov11
nice! thanks munster! im guessing they buy batteries from the main producers and wrap them themselves. no idea though... im kindof over it haha on another note. the VTC 5s that i found in my car work good... tend to drain SUPER quick... like half the time the efests take to drain. and tends to easily make the mod hot.. or maybe it was my fault for not leaving enough time between puffs... Synther
Wait.....are you saying this is fake?!?! LMAO...I like the clown hat. The other thing I hear a lot of people complain about is how a battery rated at 30a, 35a, 38a, etc is actually a pulse discharge rate and that they only get a continuous discharge rate of 20a or 25a. Well...I have news for you...they ALL list their pulse discharge rate. You'll never find a battery that will have a continuous discharge of 30+ amps. It simply doesn't exist.
