Tam
Haven't seen either one, unfortunately. And I usually avoid dubs at all costs. I only watch the subs to check the translation for friends who want to know how accurate the fansubber's translators are.

Tam
I've heard that's a great psychological thriller. Haven't gotten around to it, either, but it's on my list. Still.

Tam
Bleach is 377 episodes and 4 or 5 OVAs. Gotta love a whole new outlook on Shinigami and the after-life. Oh God not again! [emoji33] Not again...what?

Tam
In the last year or so I've gotten away from watching much anime. The crack down on torrents also put a damper on it even though I was buying the discs when they finally made it over to North America.
eGoDamus
I hear ya. IP randomizer, botnet and vpn keep all my bases covered but it sucks *** for the anime community as a whole.
Tam
Every now and then I've thought about getting those but in the end couldn't be bothered. A paid subscription to Crunchyroll works. They're pretty good about getting licenses on new series. I kind of miss waiting for the speed subbers to put their torrents out and then watching as more seeders would come online so we could get the files faster. Those were the days. eGoDamus
Shinigami in Bleach? Interesting the only one I've seen that involves them is Death Note
Tam
Yeah, these Shinigami are very different from Ryuk. They are organized, have a mission, are set up like the military with 13 squads, Captains, Lieutenants, mad scientists, deranged spirits... Tam
That would be good "ma'am" to you, boku. It's more seinen although it ran in Shonen Jump.

Tam
No offense taken. Tameiki translated means "sigh" or "to sigh" in Japanese. Folks around here shorten it and just call me Tam. Edited October 10, 2014 by Tameiki

Bebop
Does your name refer to the sort of bebop that has cowboys in it? I wouldn't even pretend to be more than a casual fan of anime. But Cowboy Bebop is fantastic from music to art to characterization. No, my moniker comes from the jazz art form where I spend most of my time. I did however grow up exclusively with Pembroke Welsh Corgis in my family (my mother mother being terribly Brittish and all, lol).
