Second box mod

Felt like tinkering tonight so I pulled some basswood out from the Rc supplies and decided to make a duel parallel 18650 box and make it as small as I could.

Came out to 4x1 3/4x 1 1/8

After I got it glued together and drilled I stained it with some cherry stain I had in the garage. I'm quite pleased with it. What do you guys think?

Looks nice. Just goes to show if the FDA gets their way, it is easy to make a working mod and you won't be stuck with a cigalike.

I can do it lol. Everyone else uses Hammond boxes but I love wood

I can make it a lot cleaner too, this was just a quick build

I really like it! I am itching to build one so bad! I want to make it with a mechanical switch. I have one figured out in my head, but I don't really have the tools necessary to build it the way I want. I still have some wood working tools, but no metal/machining/threading tools.

But I know me too well. I work way too much and the the next 3 months are going to be H3LL. I will just dream about it!

Well sitting here in my gun room I look over and see the stock grip I took off of my ar15. I remembered I had an old ego that quit working so I dug it up and removed the tip, drimmled out the grip and started my next mod
