MarchHare94
Hey Everyone. I'm Ben, I'm not really new to vaping, but have been on and off for about two and a half years, I realized when I was smoking about a pack a day that it's killing my wallet. I started out with a Volcano Inferno. That worked well except I couldn't stand the TH it had. It was just way too much for me. I still use the battery but upgraded to a Kanger Protank 3 with juice from Suicide Bunny. Absolutely love it.

MarchHare94
I gotta say. I hope Friday I have some spare cash. I could really use to move to a different battery.. This one is horrible right now!!

MarchHare94
Haha. Thanks man. If I ever get the chance I will ;-) Not likely haha. Anyone got a tip for a new battery or a good starter mod? I'm looking at a Fuzion vapor ego style battery. It's a VV batt, which is what I want. Tam
I would strongly recommend the Vision Spinner 2 as a variable voltage battery. It's 1600 mAh so it'll last quite some time -- depending on your vaping habits. The Vapor Talk store has them for $29 each, which is about the lowest price for these that I've seen and they're guaranteed not to be knock offs as well. Even after vaping for over two years now, it's still my go-to battery even though I have other more "advanced" mech mods and APVs. I like these even better than a Provari. *ducks thrown objects by Provari enthusiasts* Welcome to Vapor Talk. christov11 and Compenstine

VapeMama
Tam, I won't throw anything at you, I promise! I do really like my Provari, but everyone has their go-to set up, and everyone's is different. That's why I still use my MVP2 too. I like 'em both! Welcome to VT, Ben! MarchHare94
The vision is the one I was looking at I think. It's cheaper online but I wonder what it'll be with shipping..
MarchHare94
I'll pay like $3 more by buying it in person at the vape shop.. Might do it that way tonight if I have the money...
Tam
Where I live, the brick & mortar stores are selling them for $40 so it's cheaper for me to buy online -- even with the shipping. YMMV Just be careful that it's not a knock off. A genuine Vision Spinner II has a scratch off thing on the package which reveals a serial number. christov11
IMO 3$ is worth saving a few days to play with a new device! Edited September 12, 2014 by christov11
MarchHare94
I'm pretty sure it's the real thing. I bought my Protank3 there. That was genuine. Really hoping I can pick that up tonight.. I'm dying to try something new. One steady voltage is killing me...
Earthling789
I have a shop within a couple miles of my house, but I don't shop there for anything... they have genuine articles in the case (demos), but what is in the box they sell you are knock-offs, and cheap ones at that! I think their customers are starting to go elsewhere too, because I noticed the other day a huge sign in the window "50% off everything in stock" I'm with Tam... I'll buy online from a reputable seller (enforce REPUTABLE) because I know I'm getting the best prices and genuine products. Now, that being said, the shop 20 miles from me has all genuine gear, and great prices, which rival online + shipping (for most, basic items, anyway). I try to check their prices for anything new I'm planning to buy, before I buy online. If they're within a couple bucks, they get my business... for me, it's worth the little extra to keep them in business, and so I can get instant-gratification on my purchase! MarchHare94
So! I bought a new battery as mine actually died on the way to the store! Got an itazte CLK 1280. Got a mini protank 3 with it too! Love it so far!
Earthling789
Glad you got a good set-up... I love my mini KPT3's... good vape, and very portable... most of all... reliable!
fishguy1123
That sounds like a good purchase. The clk's are new ish, but Innokin is overall a good brand. Hope it works well for ya!
MarchHare94
It's working amazingly well! I'm getting clouds compared to what I had! I'm planning to start leaning more about how to rebuild things, so my coil that's already junk will be my first project!
jonnoh
Hi Ben, welcome! How are things down east? I can't say enough good things about The Vapor Talk Store! The service I got was the best of any place I've ever done business with online.
