fishguy1123 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Can anyone who's recently (last month or 2) purchased an MVP 2 confirm whether the on/off switch on the bottom still sticks out enough to make it wobble when you sit it down? I've seen some reviews from 6+ months age that show it, but one of the mvp 2 energy editions didn't. Wondering if Inokin re-designed them to make them flat. Thanks
jasonculp Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 (edited) I bought mine on 6/09/14 from a vendor on NewEgg. It has the recessed button. It is a version 2.0 according to the case it came in. It does sit flat with no wobble. Edited September 7, 2014 by jasonculp
fishguy1123 Posted September 7, 2014 Author Posted September 7, 2014 That's what I was hopeing for! Thanks I'm about to buy one and that was one of my concerns. jasonculp 1
Earthling789 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 I bought my MVP 2.0 back in May, and the on/off switch barely sticks out enough to flip it with your fingernail... does not hinder standing up at all
DarellC Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Did you find a good deal? I lost mine golfing today and already miss it. Somewhere around that fourth beer. Lucky I had a spinner also.

Earthling789 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 (edited) 101Vape has them for $39.99 Wow, beat me by seconds Edited September 8, 2014 by Earthling789 @hope_photography123 1
GnarlyBooger Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 I bought mine from this forumstore about 2-3 months ago .. it sits flush. No problems here.
fishguy1123 Posted September 8, 2014 Author Posted September 8, 2014 101Vape has them for $39.99 Wow, beat me by seconds That's where I found it the cheapest as well so far.
Earthling789 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 That's what I paid for mine at the local vape-shop back in May, but they were on sale from the original mark-up price of $59. $40 from a reputable online retailer is probably the best I've seen too!
RobRaven Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I'll hi-jack the thread alittle ... i was wondering will a protank 3 work on a mvp 2.0 ...
christov11 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I honestly dont see why that would be a problem, it has the 510 conection
RobRaven Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Well my Kangertech emow's dont work on it.
fishguy1123 Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) Is this the first tank you've used on it? The 510 pin can get depressed and not make connection with some if that happens. For example, my kayfun will not screw down completely without exsesive tightening so I snug it and back the beauty ring off to stabilize it some. Edited September 15, 2014 by fishguy1123
fishguy1123 Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 I meant the 510 pin on the MVP. The tank could work fine on any other device but if the MVP's pin has been pushed down to far it may not make connection properly. Just something to check.
RobRaven Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) Well both Nautilus, nautilus mini and iclear 30 + 16 works! Edited September 16, 2014 by RobRaven
fishguy1123 Posted September 16, 2014 Author Posted September 16, 2014 Ok, try measuring the length of the threaded (and pin that sticks out) portion at the bottom of the tank and compair it to the other tanks. If it's shorter then it might just be that tank only. It happens, I have 2 std evod tanks and one works on all my batteries and the other I have to fiddle with to make connection.
RobRaven Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 (edited) Well i'll use the mows on my spinner 2 ... the mini and pro tank 3 on the mvp and my 2 nautilus on my svd. Edited September 16, 2014 by RobRaven
