Is voltage drop a real problem? I've heard about the copper tape fix but aren't sure if voltage drop is that serious. I have a stainless steel mech with a magnetic switch if that changes anything.

I'm not a mech owner, but first I'd ask if you feel like you're not getting what you need from your device? Have you, or someone else tested it? The veterans will need all the details on your mod to offer anything more than general tips.

If your device is delivering the goods then just enjoy. If however you are an obsessive compulsive type then tinker away and buy more stuff.

Voltage drop does affect how well it hits. I used to own a brass and SS sentinel. The day I bought my copper stingray I put a igo w3 with month old coils on it and it performed better than the coils did new. Yes voltage drop varies from mod to mod and manufacturer to manufacturer. Personaly I don't like Ehpro or infinite clones. HCigar I noticed has the least voltage drop and sometimes less than the authentic counterpart.

Thanks guys I have an atomo clone from tobeco so when my multimeter arrives I'll test for the actual voltage drop. I think I'm gonna add the copper tape anyway because it can't really hurt.
