Earthling789 Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Actually, that sounds delicious! I've mixed Tart Apple with a little (2-4 drops per ml) Cinnamon... was quite good! Darn... I'm out of orange.... Mtdobies 1
Mtdobies Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Lol, there's a canning recipe for just that w a bit of clove (hint) that makes it spectacular.
Bebop Posted August 9, 2014 Author Posted August 9, 2014 At first I was thinking cinnamon with a hint of orange but now its moving toward more orange with a hint of cinnamon..... Back to the lab..... (insert evil maniacal laugh) Mtdobies and Tam 2
Compenstine Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Cool! My Cinnamon Stick makes a good add in mix, but look for real life recipes that have cinnamon in them. I made some Banana Nut Bread last night and it seemed bland. I added some Cinnamon Stick to it and that made all the flavors pop. Bebop 1
Bebop Posted August 9, 2014 Author Posted August 9, 2014 All good tips! Note to self: start with a fresh coil.
Compenstine Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 Ok who is sneaking pics of me in my lab with their cell phone!
Bebop Posted August 9, 2014 Author Posted August 9, 2014 c'mon, smile for the camera, Comp! Compenstine 1
Bebop Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 Ok. So I ended up with a 9 to 1 ratio orange to cinnamon that's working really well. But I think I want to sweeten it just a touch. The orange is not overly sweet to begin with and the cinnamon gave a fantastic "edge" to the orange but submerged its sweetness a little. Im thinking a few drops of snickerdoodle will do the trick haha. Then i'll end up with some kind of awesome orange cinnamon dessert thingy
