kanthal vs. nichrome

If I'm using a Kay fun lite plus with cotton micro coils. Whats the best wire to use kanthal or nichcrome? What's the difference?thanks!

I have not tried nichrome so I have no basis for comparison.

For me the only difference is nichrome has never snapped on me when torching and straightening it. It seems like any time my coils "pop" or anything, it's kanthal. Other than that, I can't tell any difference in how it holds heat or heats up, if there is any difference, it is minuscule.

i use 22 gauge kanthol mate with cotton i would say kanthol is where im staying with all my mods
