DIY Recipes help and Other Questions

I am thinking about DIY Liquids.

I am very partial to the flavors from my local shop 180vape in Lubbock TX. I don't really want to cut them out of any business. I plan on supporting them as much as possible, but i would like to save a little money. I am also scared of future regulation or taxation. I don't have any single flavors, they are all weird named, hard to describe flavors. I also have only been smoke free for a little over a month, so I have not totally regained my taste. How would I go about figuring out a similar recipe without spending an arm and leg on trials? Or is this the only way?

My favorite flavor is Hawaiian Energy. I can't really describe it, but I am told it smells like cherry (Hawaiian Punch). Possibly with Red Bull?

I also like Drunk Mama. Which I assume is a variation on the Bahama Mama.

Frozen Fruit is the other. I just seems like multiple fruit flavors with menthol.

I usually mix 1ml Frozen Fruit to 2ml each of the other 2 in my Nautilus. I'm not too exact. I can't put much menthol, it gives me terrible headaches (even in analogs).

I am not looking to reverse engineer this exactly, just something tropical, fruity, and cool. I also have no plans to make any for others. (I have had many hobbies that turned into work after I started doing it for others, such as leather tooling, reloading, computer repair, and electronics.)

All flavors are 60PG/40VG 2.4% Nicotine.

I am currently paying $16.50 for 30ml.

I have downloaded a calculator, and bookmarked a few online ones. I have read quite a bit about safety, and have most of the needed safety equipment.

I just don't know anything about the flavor combinations and the most cost effective way to go about it.

You can get cherry and redbull flavors at wizard labs I'll have 2 mix that and give it a go

Most caust worthy way buy in bulk and mix small amounts till you get your mix right then mix in larger other than that from my experience is have fun and it is fun I'm glad i started i started with 500ml of all things and get the 100% nic as it will meen Yo use less

Thanks Spyke_696! I have really about decided to slow down. I have started purchasing some small bottles of single flavored juice and using it in a dripper to try to figure out what components of the flavors that I like. I am still having a bit of trouble with my taste buds and don't want to waste a lot of money and juice until I get my taste back.

A funny side note. I have been using this same blend for about 3 months and I am now tasting a black pepper taste in it. I know it has to be my messed up taste buds, because it is all fruity and tropical!

Been working on making an eliquid that taste like circus peanuts candy......you know those orange colored marshmallow looking candies.....Started so far with banana/marshmallow/and cotton candy as a sweetner.......think i need to up the banana, decrease the marshmallow and use sweetner instead of cotton candy......any thoughts?......anyone tried to make this flavor?
