christov11
The title says it all! What do you think takes it? Keep in mind this isnt for dripping (not sure if it even applies but rather say it than it becoming a debate) Any big differences? (Im dizzy reading everything I can and need some "dumbing-down"... christov11
OH... I think I made a boo-boo... The Kayfun... Do I always need to rebuild the coil/wick or wtv? or can I just buy new ones?
Jeffb
The Kayfun is for rebuilding the coils. You can buy coils for the Protank and Aspire.
Tam
The Aspire...what? Aspire is a brand name and they make various different tanks. Are you talking about the Aspire Nautilus?
VapeMama
I love my Protanks, especially with the airflow controller, and I'm debating whether to buy another Rrotank or get a Nauti Mini. So right now I'd have to lean toward the Protank only because that's all I've used (of the choices listed). jessieh
Thevwvaper21
My brother has a Kayfun and I have a Pro Tank both have been great but I feel like the Kayfun produces a better flavor for the E-liquids. I use the Pro Tank simply because I have a bunch of coils left that fit it.

jessieh
I love my Protank 2 with the adjustable airflow valve. I have a lot of different tanks but I'm really stuck on my Protank 2.
Tam
The Kayfun is an RBA (rebuildable tank), which means you will have to rebuild the coils yourself. Not exactly what I would recommend for a beginner. The Kanger Pro Tank 2 is a great tank. I love mine with an Aerotank airflow base. The Kanger Pro Tank 3 is a dual coil unit that can also take the same single coil as a Pro Tank 2. The single coils are cheaper than a dual coil. My personal preference is an Anyvape Davide with an Aerotank base and the Anyvape Davide mini (old 2.5 ml style). The full sized Davide is basically the same as a KPT (Kanger Pro Tank) 2 and 3 version but I think it performs better. It does for me anyway. So far I've not gotten an Aspire Nautilus -- I'm waiting for the Nautilus mini with the vertical coil to come out.
christov11
I'm really debating since my local shop offers the pro tank and nautilus for 5-10$ difference... Not enough of a difference for me to judge solely on price... Now the aspire I like for the replacement tanks especially the "checkered" looking one. I guess I can't go wrong with it! Now if only I could find the right mod...
Mr Smith
so you mixed a tank, a brand name, and another tank that is in a different league and skill level all together... protank - made by kangertech aspire (brand name) - which one? ET-S? nautilus? vivi nova? kayfun - which one? 3.1, lite, lite plus? mini? (not even the same category as the previous two...kayfuns are fully rebuildable and more for advanced users) that said: I own a couple aspire ET-S's and a nautilus, all great tanks for those that just want to screw in a coil pack and be done with it... but I also own a kayfun lite plus (clone) and since getting that and building a coil for it...I have no desire to ever go back to the old tanks because the kfl+ flavor and vapor production is 10x better and it is cheaper in the long run to maintain. also don't have to worry about the companies no longer making coils for it in the future since I make my own. Mtdobies
Kayfun or russian imo is much the much better.choice.Building a coil is not difficult as it may seem. And lasts a lot longer as you can rewick instead of tossing the whole deal as well. Manager pro tank w airflow base is almost as good. But does not touch it for flavor and less expense, maintenance etc.

Oh yes! Dont we all love posts from newbies(me) that are confused with all the readily available info! Sorry if it pushed your buttons that I was a little (a lot) off with the different tanks and names but with a lot of help from these guys I was able to make sense of everything I had already read (had read many things 3+ times even!). A lot of people seem to love the protank! Im personally loving kanger products so far but ive heard comparisons stating that the aspire tanks like the nautilus and nautilus mini(espcially the mini with the new vert-coils) seem to give more flavor. Is it THAT much of a difference for those of you who have tried both?

Is it THAT much of a difference for those of you who have tried both? Personally I think the Davide and Davide Mini blow the Aspire Nautilus and KPT away in terms of flavor. I do use KPT2s with and without Airflow bases at times, mainly in higher risk situations since they no longer make the Davide Mini like I want I tend to be a little more careful with them. My KPT 2s are for the boat, fishing, beach, amusement parks, camping etc... but my daily tank is the old style 2.5ml Anyvape Davide minis. I bought all mine before they started the dual coil production so everything I have uses the same coil. I have less than 0 interest in anything I have to rebuild lol. My life is busy enough, I even bought enough tanks I only have to fill once a week for my wife and I together. I would literally pay the original price for some more of the old style Anyvape Davide Minis even if they were used a lot lol.

bcartervol98
Am I mistaken? it looks liek the davides take the same kanger coils? Everything I use takes Kanger coils. I am not a fan of any dual coils (more expensive, same performance imo) so I bought all the old style Davides that Discount Vapers had in stock before they changed (Have 16 now lol). Now a Davide is just a better version of the ProTank in my eyes and uses the same coils. Thing is when Anyvape started making the Davide Mini it was 2.5ml (same as KPT 2) and the flavor was unbelievable. Then when they went to a different design to get ready for the change to Aspire coils the capacity dropped to 2.0ml (some sites say 1.6 but I measured mine at 2.0ml). In my year and a half of vaping the mini Davide in its original form (2.5ml, single Kanger coil) is twice as good as anything else I have tried and would love to run across a "cloud chaser" that has given up on the tanks with a small stockpile I can buy. Tam
Am I mistaken? it looks liek the davides take the same kanger coils? The new NEW version of the Anyvape Davides can take both the Aspire coils or, if you take off the top part where the coil connects, it can also take the Kanger coils as well. At least that's what I read. I have yet to buy one of these to give it a test, though. Bcarter and I both use the old Davide and Davide mini from back when they just took the Kanger coils. Sorry for the confusion.
christov11
Thats pretty nice though. it doesnt have you chasing coils if EVER you run out of one or the other. Obviously having an array of coils and different tanks is probably where Im heading since I just cant make up my mind haha Im just scared to always be vaping the same device and the other be left to their own for too long. But I cant decide without trying them. Hence the friday shopping spree! I think im gonna go nuts friday actually... Setting a couple hundred budget. NOW. with that being said. obviously the combination of tank and battery will be the hard thing to find. But as ive seen... its not rare to have more than a few devices ready to use at home haha some of your collections are insane! Definately finding a mod. and possibly 2-3 tanks with their respective coils unless they take kanger coils, those i have. Some more juices. a few beers cause its gonna be the WEEKEEEENNDD!! Mtdobies
I do, not in places where people could be offended, restaurants and the like, but I do Vape outside in most places. How will people accept it if they Dont see it, don't feel comfortable asking questions and the like. Vape away, considerately though..
