elem187 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 anyone who gives their bank details to ANYONE needs to get their heads checked.
nana Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 While I would never give my credit card info to someone for something "free", I can still see where a person could be taken by a shady person or company. Just ordering from a new place for the first time can be dangerous if you don't know about them. That's why I'm glad for this forum. I trust the people here and they know about the good and bad places.
NeRo9k Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 : / Stuff like this happens in most e-commerce markets and it's sad.
stubear62 Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Smart Smoker keeps calling to send me free e-cigs. Thats right, free e-cigs. Until they ask for a CC#, for S&H. But here in SC I don't have to pay the S&H for something that is advertised to me for free as they are solicitating for my business. HAHA, I just hang-up on them.
ddavelarsen Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 I got sucked into one of those ads... Until it came to the part about giving them my CC number. I quickly shut down the browser; you never know what kind of malware sites are loading to your machine while you're sitting there dithering...
