mvince201 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Mech mods are pretty simple. You want a highly conductive metal, a nice smooth switch, and good threads. As long as you have those three things your in it to win it. But here's a review anyway.

And this statement is why you will get ppl upset with you..... When you don't know what or how something you bought works, and ask after the fact is a sensitive issue for me and others. Be safe, and research before you buy and use any product like this!

Earthling789 Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Hey, I looked at an M5 yesterday at the sidewalk sale... though the one that caught my eye was the brushed Aluminum with Copper rings and rods. IIRC, it was $40? It looked cool, and I might buy one to stick on the shelf someday, but I really prefer something with VV/VW capabilities, along with a bit of protection in the circuit. I'm not about to blow my hand off with an over-grown flashlight case because I unknowingly did something stupid... then again, I know enough about electronics to not be that stupid (I hope, anyways)... proper batteries, proper fuse, and I don't cloud-chase, so no worries about sub-ohming
