PandaX Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 I am having a problem with the Innokin Coolfire 2 I bought about 2 weeks ago. I've used several different types of e-cigarettes in the last 2 years, and became frustrated with all of them that seemed to stop working after a while. My boyfriend purchased a Coolfire 2 and loved it so I did the same. It's been fine since I had it but last night as it was just sitting on the table next to me, it began making the sound it does when you hit the button. I promptly took out the battery and tank, and the sound stopped. I cleaned around where the battery meets the tank (where there seemed to be a little leaking liquid), and put the battery back in. The sound still didn't come back on. It was only when I screwed on the tank that the noise began again. It's almost like it's running as soon as the tank goes on, and I'm not sure what to do about it. We even tried screwing on another tank that we knew worked - same thing. First time I've ever had a mod. I'm so frustrated! It has been working perfectly fine for me, and then this! Anyone know a fix, or had anything similar happen? Thanks, Sara
Josay89 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Sorry to hear about your issue. I'm on my second cool fire. I think some of my e Juice leaked into the internals because it would light up when I hit the button but no sound or vape. Maybe something similar happened to you
Earthling789 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 E-liquid getting into a battery can do all kinds of strange things... including shorting out the circuitry, causing them to fire on their own, or not fire at all. Sounds like yours is experiencing the former problem, as soon as you attach the tank, completing the circuit?
