neyney87
Ok so I'm only alone to a month into this but I think I'm having trouble with my clearomizers even brand new ones the bottom of my mouth pieces get flooded with liquid. Thinking of trying a new set but don't know what to get. I'm currently using a triple ego from triple ecig. Any thoughts?
Tam
Just looked those up and they appear to be some kind of variation of a CE4. Most people don't use them anymore because there are better things to be had at around the same price like the Pro Tank mini. You'll want to get replacement coils for those at whatever ohm you like (I prefer the 1.8 ohms). Whenever your flavor drops off or it's just not working well for you, you pop a fresh coil in and you're good to go. Much better than having to replace the whole thing every time. The two links below go to our own Vapor Talk store for the KPT mini and the Pro Tank 2 replacement coils. Their prices are comparable (usually lower) than anywhere else. Might give these a try? https://www.vaportalkstore.com/Clear-Pro-Tank-Mini-p/pro-tank-mini-clear.htm https://www.vaportalkstore.com/eCigarette-Tank-Coils-s/1856.htm
neyney87
Thanks for the info! Its just weird that a brand new one doesn't seem to work at all for me Edited June 7, 2014 by neyney87
Tam
Since most of these things come from China, there really isn't any kind of quality control so it's not uncommon to get a bad one right out of the box.
neyney87
Will my battery be compatible with these or do I need to get that brand
Tam
From what I could tell on the website it doesn't specifically say it's 510 threaded but it says they're CE5 clearomizers so the KPT minis should fit. CE5s are 510 threaded.

Tam
Just remember that when you get them, wash the tank out thoroughly to get the machining oils off. No need to wash the coils, just the tank. You might get a nasty taste otherwise. neyney87
neyney87
What do you recommend using to do that
Tam
Just some warm to almost hot water with a little bit of dish washing detergent should be fine. Be sure to rinse thoroughly!

Tam
Looking forward to it! If the tank comes with a coil inside, take the coil out first and wash the bottom part as well. neyney87
VapeMama
I like the KPT mini because it can be totally taken apart to clean it between flavors. I use 2.2 ohm coils and the draw is excellent! Mtdobies and neyney87
