BrodyW
So I recently bought an eTech III 900amh (I know it's not top of the line but it was on sale), and I am using an AeroTank atomizer. When the battery life is at 100% (4 bars) it vapes pretty good, but then as soon as the battery life falls to 75%- (3 bars) there is a serious lack in power and vape. The atomizer is 2ohms and I have the voltage on the battery varying from 3.7 - 4.2. The liquid I'm using is 80/20VG. At times I would even switch the atomizer to a Vapage battery and it works great so I have narrowed it down to it has to be the battery.
Vaporsmith
My guess is that since it is a 900mah battery it is just getting weak. 75% of a 900mah battery isn't that much juice. At 2.0ohms it takes a good bit of time to heat up the coils as well. I think is multiple factors causing this entire experience. My guess is that it's purely the batteries fault as you said. Bebop
That's the sign of a bad battery. It's voltage should be constant at your setting until it dies. All batteries have a slight drop off right at the end of their charge but if it's happening at 75% then you can be sure it's not a quality battery or the battery is at the end of its life. Compenstine
Are you using the internal charger? I'm not familiar with this model, but it may be a bad in unit charger. I would get a better charger for your 18650 battery and not charge it through the unit. Did it come with the Samsung battery? My search brought up this unit:
