jsr27
my vamo says 2.3 and would prefer more flavor and more vapor.
fishguy1123
The coil will have a marking on it stateing the ohm it's supposed to be. Most of the time they're .1 ish off. What setting are you useing on the vamo now?
bcartervol98
1.8ohm at around 7 to 7.5w was always my sweet spot. The 1.8s usually read 2.0 or 2.1. Out of the hundreds and hundreds I have been through I have only had a few read below 2.0ohms.
SteezeOG
I have 1.5, 1.8, and 2.2 ohm heads for my protank2. Usually the 1.5 read about 1.6 or 1.7 and will give you the most vapor but it's not a big difference over the rest. Use what you can get for cheap. Adjusting your watts is going to be more beneficial for taste and vapor production anyway. Beyond that the only way you can get more vapor and taste is upgrade to a better tank. Compenstine
I would agree with the above, 1.5 or 1.8 would be the choice for better vapor and flavor. I use around 1.5 at 15 watts in my Vamo 5, that is my sweet spot. It is something that you just need to find what you like and what works best for you. The 2.x are just a little to cool of vape imo. Earthling789
I've tried 1.5 and 2.0's in my AeroTanks, using my MVP... I find no difference in them as far as vapor or flavor, but the 1.5's wear down the battery slower, because I tend to use the same wattage level for either coil. On a static battery like an eGo, if the 1.5's are too warm for you, you can reduce the Wattage by increasing the resistance (using a 2.0), thus giving you a cooler vape (at a lower wattage).
