Notwen Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Hello everyone my name is Newton I live in Tyler, Texas. I am fairly new to vapeing. I have a few friends who are hardcore vapers that turned me to it. One of them had a itaste vtr that I fell in love with so I decided considering I normally pick up on things fairly fast I didn't want to start with a basic battery I wanted to dive in head first with a mod. Thus a month ago I got an itaste vtr of my own with that being said I have the tank it came with and a 3.7v 3100mAh rechargeable battery. I also got some white rhino e juice in various flavors at 24mg of nicotine. The past month I have been using it and still smoking cigs but have drastically slowed down from about a pack a day to maybe 5 cigs a day. My hardest time is during work a real cig just seems more rewarding but maybe that's just me. After I finish the current pack I am smoking I plan to try and move to vapeing only. I hope to learn alot here so if any of y'all have any tips or pointers that would help with my setup it would be greatly appreciated. Thax and sorry for rambling on lol. VaporTron 1
jerryjoe Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Welcome Notwen. Glad your here. I still have the pack of analogs I was smoking when I switched. 5 joes I was hanging on to just in case. It's been a month and a half now and their still sitting in my backpack. Probably choke a horse they're so stale. Notwen and VaporTron 2

Notwen Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Hopefully when I finish mine I will be forever done with analogs. Plan on buying a smaller mod or maybe just a battery soon to take with me to work considering the vtr is on the heavy side. Btw noticed your from Lafayette I just recently moved away from there its a great place! I plan to eventually move back.
jerryjoe Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I love Lafayette. Lived all over Louisiana. NO, Baton Rouge, Lake Chuck. Lafayette's my favorite. Vaping community could be better. Few B&M's but nothing as good as I can do online. What part of TX you move to? Notwen 1
Notwen Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Tyler, East Texas and I have friends who work at the vape stores in laffy a few work at the stand in the mall they can order stuff you like if you become a regular and they can sell it.
jerryjoe Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I purchased an ego battey, MT3 tank and charger (no wall adapter) for $40 at one of the local stores. At least it was a VV battery albeit 650 mah. They wanted $35 at the kiosk in the mall and it came with a not-so-good tank (the plastic 1.5-1.6 ml kind with the braids from the top coil) and non VV 650 mah ego for $35. These prices as I have come to understand are high. Lafayette has to deal with that @%#@& from TKO vapor. Read the chatter about him online. Overall not impressed with lafayette b&ms. None of the stores offer options to adjust pg/vg.
jerryjoe Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I called a while back to every b&m in Lafayette. Asked the same question each time. I was looking for a low resistance long barreled sealed dripping atomizer. Somewhere around 1.5 ohm if possible. With drip tip, drip shield and 510-510 adapter. Not one single store knew what I was talking about. I'm not saying they didn't carry them or were out of stock. They didn't understand what I was trying to buy. One store, ragin vapes, although didn't know what I was asking for, did offer to sell me a rebuildable dripping atomizer. So at least they have some knowledge of vaping outside ego batteries and 80/20 (pg/vg) premixed eliquid.
