Didn't take a picture but I made a HUGE amount of tempura tonight. Yellow summer squash, mushrooms, around 40 medium sized shrimp on skewers...

...and RICE! :)

Tomorrow's pork steaks on the grill. I have them marinading in some Japanese sake. They'll be good and three sheets to the wind by tomorrow night. LOL. :)

Umm ok

Ohhhh the tempura

Cut the squash on the diagonal and very thin so that it would be nice and soft inside with a flaky tempura crust on the outside. Mmmmm

Don't recall, Ma. Wonder how many hours it would be for bcarter and his lady to make it here? I'm just about two miles away from a huge reservoir that would be a great place for his boats. :)

Tempura good. Love the mountain lake system we are on. She woke up! It's back on time for shots !!!
