Ironhead
I'm just now getting ready to make my purchase. I've been researching and think I'm sold on the 501. Can anyone let me know what would be the best ecig to purchase as a beginner.
keenan
The 510 is a good choice for beginners, as well as vet vapers. I have a 510 and LOVE it. A lot has to do with what your intentions are, how many analogs you smoked, etc. Can you give a little more info ?
Christopher
The 510 is hands down the best starter model, not only because it's well built, but it has a manual switch. This allows you to use liquid in the future. (Meaning instead of forking out money for carts you can purchase liquid to direct drip) You've picked a great starter model! nana
I haven't been vaping for very long, but can say that I wish I would have started with the 510. I got the 901 and then the 801 before getting my 510. I'm happiest with it and could have saved myself some time and money by going with the 510 first. Other than a too short battery time, it's the best of the 3 for me. Although I now have the VP2, too, I think I'll always keep a 510 around. kitsune
I'll add my 2 cents---510 most definately. Make sure you get extra batteries, atomizers and liquid. the next step is the passthrough--I highly recommend the VP-PT from vaprlife--see the vapor talk store. what you buy and how many extra parts all depend on the budget. happy vaping
BirdDog
My first purchase was a 510. It is the perfect choice for someone starting out.
elem187
I'll add that pretty quick you might want to invest in a PCC made for the 510.... as this allows you to keep your batteries charged on the go when you are not near an outlet or computer if you have a usb system. Nothing worse then going out with friends for a few hours and killing the charge on both your batteries and being dead in the water until you find a power source. Other than, make sure you buy some yummy liquid flavors to keep your taste buds interested.

mcquinn
I would reccomend the Joye 510 or the DSE 901 for beginners and don't forget a usb passthrough and 110V to usb adapter for DSE passthrough not needed in my opinion for Joye passthrough with battery inline.
