100% VG best for sub ohm vaping?

Just started vaping with mechanical mods and sub ohms. I'm Down to zero nicotine so that's not an issue for me. I guess I just like to play cloud chaser now.

My question is, is 100% VG going to be flavorless or would a 80VG 20PG blend allow me some more flavor?

If your main goal is big clouds, then yes vg would be better.

Big clouds are satisfying but I'm really not in it to impress others. I want some flavor at the same time.

In my little bit of dabbling with vaping at sub ohms my 50% and higher PG juices don't taste as good as my high VG juices.

I prefer 30pg/70vg personally. I think it has good flavor with a lot of vapor. But a lot of it depends on the coil you're using and the brand of juice.

I'm doing 40pg/60vg flavors there and the clouds are better, but I guess I would see if one has the option for extra flavor to be added at a lower pg. I do add extra

Im using a Nimbus RDA dual coil build with a "soaker" wick at .5 ohms. Right now im mixing a 70vg/30pg 11mg nic, "Green Lantern" Juice (tastes like gummy bears) with a 70pg/30vg Sweet tarts caffeinated liquid (0 nic). It tastes awesome and makes KILLER clouds.

Im waiting on a order from Bootleg Vapors I put in for a 80vg/20pg liquid of strawberry mango... Kind of wondering if I should have requested in the order that they add extra flavoring since the PG is only 20%.

Yes it is always a good Idea when available to boost the flavor with a higher VG juice. Some times extra steeping time will do the trick as well giving time for the flavoring to flavor the VG.

Im the exact opposite, I tried the high VG and didn't like it, then I switched it up with a 70PG / 30VG and the flavor is a little muted, but i get bigger clouds, cause i can put more in my lungs without it hurting or burning.

I enjoy pure VG flavor as well as PG blends, but some people have a hard time with PG. My wife is one. Johnson Creek makes a pure VG line that tastes great and produces nice clouds even if you're not sub ohming (I don't).
