Christopher
Yup thats right, take a shot and stop smoking. Could this be the end for the ecig? Would you take the shot? Read the store: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/11/16/AR2009111603638.html?hpid=moreheadlines Then let's hear your thoughts... stubear62
Wow, Chris. I never knew or thought about something like that could happen. I wouldn't take it. I need to have some kind of recreation. Hell, its e-cig or I go back to pot. I haven't had that since 1985. I need my crutch and I don't drink. Now with the drugs I need to take for my disability, I couldn't drink. I would be waaaaaaaaaayyyy spaced out or kill myself from an OverDose. keenan
After reading this story, the phrase "the race is on" comes to mind. But, not a race for the vaccine, more of a race for the MONEY for developing a vaccine. I get the impression that these Pharm companies are more concerned with being the FIRST, not the most effective. In thier hurried pace to achieve this, I wonder, when the commercial airs for this drug, how many quickly spoken side effects will be blurted at the end. And, within a month, how many money hungry lawyers will pop out asking if you or a loved one has taken ill after using this drug. Then, while all that will be going on, NO ONE will be aware of the fact that the drug will have a 20 % success rate. There is logic ( for lack of a better word ) to this madness. If they continue with a vaccine, Big Pharma reaps profit, HealthCare reaps profit, Insurance Co. reap profit, Lawyers reap profit, EVERYONE but the consumer who is duped into buying yet ANOTHER poorly researched, barely tested "Miracle" drug. I cant decide which bothers me more, that this will probably happen, or that the vast majority of "sheep" are going to allow it to happen. Rant finished, Im out of breath. jmhester
After the experience my wife and I both had with Chantix, no thank you to this shot. I can't see how altering ones immune system could be a good thing at all! So it binds to the nicotin so that it cannot affect the receptors in the brain? What this says to me as that you can smoke like a fiend and never satisfy your physical addiction. Honestly, I can't see how that would work at all. However, as previously stated, it's going to make somebody a HUGE sum of money!

I see nicotine overdoses as a result.
