Tam Posted April 25, 2014 Share Posted April 25, 2014 So I have this lovely inside pocket in my purse that I use to carry my gold Magneto in. I took it out this afternoon...and the button had come off. I got it put back together again and, after I changed the coil in the KPT3 and changed the battery to a fresh one, it works just fine. Tam Posted April 25, 2014 Author Share Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Good to know. My first instinct was to PANIC!!!! Once I got it put back together, the darned thing wouldn't fire. That didn't help things at all. Then I tried changing the coil. Nothing. Changed the battery. SUCCESS!!! I love my Magneto and didn't want to think I'd broken it already. Rixter Posted April 26, 2014 Share Posted April 26, 2014 Here's another little Magneto switch trick to try if a known good battery won't fire: Remove the battery to relieve tension on the switch section. Unscrew the switch assembly from the bottom of the mod. Turn the slotted switch section inside the mod counter-clockwise ¼ to ½ turn . Re-attach the switch section.
