joejoevapekins
http://www.vividsmoke.com/kanger-aerotank-mega.htmlLooks like a stripped down kayfun.
Aquatroy
That's the concept...and you don't have to rebuild...the whole point of it..
joejoevapekins
Wonder if it'll have the lvl of performance a kayfun has. It'll be interesting to find out big cloudz
iheartvape
hmm... that might be a good tank for my wife. she loves my kayfun, but she doesn't want to rebuild coils.

Joshuab3687
DG! Nice to see ya again! I think I kinda like the new Mega. I'm not really a fan of the actual kayfun style RBAs, but I may have to look into getting this. I love the full stainless tank look too!
regal
The million dollar question is will we be able to buy the base & coil and convert the aerotank protank, anyvape BCC&BCD ? That would be fantastic. big cloudz

regal
The description says the coil works with the aerotank mini, I haven't hear of that just normal and the bigger version big cloudz
Aquatroy
So we just got these in stock, they look cool, very different coil tho...Has anyone had a chance to use one yet? Thoughts? Thanks...
Earthling789
It looks like Kanger has a new-generation of coils out now... They look totally different at the top (no "cap"), and the Kanger logo on the stem... Are the wicks totally internal? I'm wondering if they are making a move towards a coil that is harder to rebuild? I have received one of these "New coils" you have the coil and wick hidden inside completely, haven't taken it apart....yet

That would be a shame if they do, but they would sell more coils that way. You have a link to pic of one?

I just got a box of 50 and broke into them last night and they look completely the same. Maybe I got backstock. I would love to see a pic of one. Are these the single coils? bcartervol98
Ok it is the dual coil, I dont use those.
Earthling789
Yeah, these are duals... but only a matter of time before they switch to this style for single-coils... anybody want to take bets on when? I'd love to get my hands on one of these to take it apart and see how much more difficult it would be to rebuild it...
Compenstine
Looks like they just redesigned the chimney cap. I would almost bet that it looks the same with the cap removed.
regal
I don't think the coils shown above are for the mega, the updated their dual coil for the aerotank and protank3 a few months ago. If the mega is using the mini's coil I think those are different. Please correct me if I am wrong.

If the mega is using the mini's coil I think those are different. Please correct me if I am wrong. The AeroTank, AT Mega, AT mini, PT3, PT3 Mini, Evod2, and T3'D all use the same coil... dual-coil... These coils are the updated version of the dual-coil, with a solid-sleeve which contains the coil and wick. There are apparently two holes on each side for e-juice to enter the chamber where the coil/wick are housed. regal
juicinjasmine1993
Oooh! I like the idea that you don't have to rebuild it; I agree with the general consensus, it looks like a stripped down Kayfun. I'm definitely going to look into that, thanks vapers! Jazz

Compenstine
Well I bought a Mega tank not long ago and it had these new coils with it. I had to strip one down after I used it up and wouldn't yeah know. Not so new after all. Have a look.
grailhunter78
On the kanger website they have something about ceramic wicks in a new coil coming out. Not sure it didn't go into too much info.
subnuclear
just a note about the mega aerotank. I'm having serious flooding issues with mine. Changing the coil stops it but a coil shouldn't start flooding after only a few days of use!
