First mech mod and kayfun. Have ?

Hey guys, new to mech mods. Just got my sentinel m16. Also built my first coil on a kayfun clone at 2.3 ohm with cotton. After putting the kayfun on my m16 I get a little bit of a burnt taste every once in awhile. Wasn't getting that on my vv mod. New to rebuilding so any help would really be appreciated Cheers

Possible it isnt wicking properly. How did you position the wick? Did you screw the chimney on before or after setting up the wick?

I dunno what it was but it's been great since then. I pulled the cotton wicks up then screwed on the chimney. Then matted them down in the s position.
