Sharkbite
Hey all I just started building coils. i rebuilt a kanger protank 3. It was .9 ohms dual coils. 28 kanthal and cotton wicks. I tried it first on my K101 and nothing. The I checked again for ohms on MVP it read .9. So I tried to fire it and no current through coil. But thn the button light stayed on and I got crazy messages in the lLCD. Now the MVP wont fire my Kayfun at 1.7 ohms but will fire Pro Tank 3 and iTaste 30 with manufactures heads. Did something break or is my ohms too low. I need pointers on this please
Joshuab3687
The MVP will not fire below 1.1 If its giving you error msgs, plug it in for a full charge cycle (till the green light goes out). Then try your stock PT3 coils. Your 1.7 kayfun may not be making good battery connection
Tam
What did your ohm meter read? Do you have one that you're testing your builds on before putting it on your batteries? You're not using your MVP to check ohms, are you? If you don't have a separate ohm meter I would strongly suggest you get one. Safety first! joejoevapekins
Those MVPs are fishy. My wife fires at .8 I asked a guy at a b&m about it and he said some fire only 1.2ish and higher and some lower. But it proubly burnt something out firing that low
