Happy Vapor Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Ok I've seen a lot of opinions on colored juice but all the negative comments I've seen don't give a reason on why it's a bad idea. There is coloring in a lot of the drinks we drink and foods that we eat so why is it not good for juice?
Joshuab3687 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Because of the method of ingestion. Our lungs are a direct oxygen exchanger for our blood cells. When you eat or drink something its not immediately dumped into the blood stream. It gets processed through amino acids in tge stomach and then thru the rest of the filtering cycle. I.e., intestines, kidneys, liver. When you inhale something, it goes straight into the blood stream via the silia in the lungs and bronchial tubes.
Happy Vapor Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 Thank you for the direct answer josh you are the man.
Happy Vapor Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 But wouldn't the coloring evaporate. I mean if you put blue juice on a rba and pressed the button without the top cap and not vaping it wouldn't you be able to retell the difference?
Vispera Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Ah who cares about color still better then the crap from stinkys Happy Vapor and Love2VapeDaily 2
Joshuab3687 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Oh, dont get me wrong Vis, coloring isnt a deal breaker for me. I wasjust giving Happy the rationale for it Vispera 1
bcartervol98 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 If I feel comfortable with the vendor, then I feel comfortable with the liquids regardless of the color. I have gotten liquids from all sorts of companies and have settled on three flavors I like and havent tried a new one in months. Probably wont unless I all of a sudden stop liking mine. I have one that is basically clear, one that is bright red, and one that comes in clear and by the time I finish 125ml of it it is fairly bright yellow.
Love2VapeDaily Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I get all my juice from a local b&m. All start of almost transparent but end up a light caramel color. My wifes pink lemonade starts of pink and turns bright pink after a few weeks. All are made to order in their juice lab when ordered directly in your line of sight. Currently i have access to over 100+ flavors from my buddies at my local b&m.
Compenstine Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 I don't see any point in adding coloring. Just one less thing going into your body. As i said before, some flavoring companies already add coloring so at least in my book, I don't add any.
Happy Vapor Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 I spoke with the guy who makes the juice and he said for one individual juice (the only odd ball color) he uses 1 drop per 100 ml
Joshuab3687 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 That's a negligible amount. I wouldn't sweat it.
