StankMonster Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Is The Vamo V2 rebuildable? I know this is a stupid question but I'm very new to all of this! Thanks everyone!!
Jeffb Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Why would you want to rebuild it? Joshuab3687 and Tam 2
Aquatroy Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 A Vamo is an APV, NOT a Mod....keep on learning...... Love2VapeDaily and Joshuab3687 2
Tam Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 A Vamo is an APV, NOT a Mod....keep on learning...... I'm not a noob but I'm still learning new things every day! I thought mods were APV and mechanicals. What makes a mod a mod? Joshuab3687 1
Compenstine Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I think either way could be correct. I see them as Mech Mods and VV/VW APV Mods. The main point is learn don't put the cart before the horse. Love2VapeDaily 1

Joshuab3687 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) The APV is advanced in that it has a PCB for the VV/VW function. The Mech mods have a direct battery connection in the device an no VV/VW function unless a "Kick" is installed in line with the battery. Also, the APV generally have a hard short protection, battery discharge protection. Whereas the mechs do not. Which is why we HIGHLY discourage noobs from mechs till they get more knowledge. Joshuab3687 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Thank you. You are more than welcome! Think of mechs like a flashlight: drop in a batt and light it up. If there's a short... Failure! APVs would be akin to a dimmer switch on ur wall: turn the switch on and turn tge dial to ur prefered light setting. If there's a short... Ur breaker trips in ur breaker box, keeping ur house from burning down. Tam 1
