Justin_Knuth Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Would you guys recommend Ultrafire batteries for a k101 they are 4000mah and 3.7v
robv1978 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Research the amp limit of the battery if you plan on sub ohming. A lot of people hate on ultrafire batts but tons of people use them. As long as your device is vented and you feel comfortable in your knowledge of much mods and coil builds I say go for it and keep us posted.
Imnukingfutz Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 yea, I used them and they suck. I bought the Ultrafire 3600 mAh batteries, put them into my VTR (they didnt fit, 1/8 inch too long)...so I popped them into my Kamry 200 and they didnt last half as long as the Samsung 2000 mAh batteries I have. Cheap batteries, I got them off Amazon 2 for $8 but trash.
Happy Vapor Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I had a decent experience with the ultra fire batteries. They were the first batteries I purchased with my k100. I never sub ohmed them though. Waited on my sonys and Samsung 30s for that.
Compenstine Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Beware of Fake Batteries. This is about Trustfire Fakes.
Aquatroy Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I don't buy any batteries or chargers that have the word fire in them.....just sayin...... Pannys Sanyos or oribtronics...
Compenstine Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Efest and Sony for me. I here MHKE is a good brand as well as Panasonic and NCR.
Joshuab3687 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I have a couple sony's and 4 samsungs. Getting ready to get some 26650 sony's and MNKE's for my Hades clone that I just preordered.
joejoevapekins Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Im a fan of these eh 30amp 18650s. The .4ohm setup i have on my nimbus isnt even pushing them hard. At 3.7v im getting about 35watts and only about 9.3amps
